Built with the co operation of GHMC is originally conceived as Community Health Centre. Over a period of time the centre is fully developed into a auditorium, where members conduct Marriages, Birth Day parties and other functions at nominal rates. This also acts as the Hub for social and cultural activities. This is the place where Ganesh Utsav Committee an independent body conducts Ganesh Chaturthi for nine days and Durga Puja for five days. This Hall hosts all AGMs, EGMs and Resident Owners Meetings. All health camps and any other activity which requires large space are hosted here. It has a dining Hall attached to this and recently a kitchen has also been built.
In North eastern area of the colony, a Tennis court is located. It is a clay court with a qualified coach supervising the maintenance and coaching the youngsters of the colony. Regular practice goes on both in the morning and evening hours. The court being fully lit, practice goes on till 8 PM.
The colony has a skating rink near Tank No 1. The children from the colony and nearby areas regularly enjoy their sessions under the supervision of a coach.
The colony has a total of four Badminton Courts. Two of them have lighting facilities where as the other two can be played only during sun light. All the courts are occupied by players of all ages. Timings 6.00am to 8.00am and 16.30 to 19.30
Right in the middle of colony, we have a shopping complex where a Grocery shop, Office of cable net work, A Fashion Designer and an Organic Store is located. In the First Floor Jayasimha Mind Education- The Memory Academy, which trains people of different ages in memory techniques is located.
The colony has two beautiful parks. Both the parks are located towards Northern end of the colony. “Gandhi Vanam” located on the main South-North Road is endowed with rich flora and an excellent walking track. It is a clay track which is ideally suited for walking of people of all ages. The track is patronised not only by the colony residents but also from people of nearby colonies. “Abdul Kalam Bagh’ is located on the Northern periphery was recently inaugurated by Sri Mahender Reddy, Honble Minister for Transport , Govt of Telengana. Even this park has a walking track and with variety of plants and lush greenery.
There are many septuagenarians and octogenarians in the colony . As their age do not permit any hectic activity they prefer to sit in isolation during evening hours . For those who are desirous sitting alone the colony has four Gazebos which are patronised by ladies and senior citizens.
Transco of Telengana State is responsible for the power requirements of the colony. In order to eliminate the entire colony being blacked out in case of trouble in any area, the load is distributed amongst nine transformers located in various areas of the colony. In case of trouble in any area only that area is isolated and rest of the colony continues to enjoy uninterrupted power supply.
The colony entered into an exclusive agreement with Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board for supply of 400 KL of water per day through a 150mm pipe . The main line from HMWS&SB terminates near South Gate. From there water is pumped to Tank No 1&2. Further the water is supplied to each DU through internal pipelines at specified timings. In addition the colony has three bore wells. The water so supplied is used for gardening and other purposes.
